Hare Wynn attorneys Ashley Reitz Peinhardt and David Brown have been elected to the Alabama Association for Justice Board of Directors for 2026–2027.
Most people do not think about their right to a jury trial until they need it.
But for the attorneys who serve on the Alabama Association for Justice Board of Directors, protecting that right is not an afterthought: it is the reason they show up.
We are proud to share that two members of our team, Ashley Reitz Peinhardt and David Brown, have been elected to the Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) Board of Directors for 2026–2027.
Their election, announced at the ALAJ Annual Convention in Destin, Florida, reflects the respect they have earned from plaintiff attorneys across the state.
Serving on the ALAJ Board means advocating not just for clients in the courtroom, but for the integrity of Alabama’s civil justice system at the organizational level, and that is exactly the kind of leadership Ashley and David bring to everything they do.
This year’s leadership class is helmed by newly elected President Lucy Tufts of Cunningham Bounds in Mobile, who takes the reins from outgoing President Clint Mountain. The incoming officer slate and board represent some of Alabama’s most accomplished plaintiff attorneys, and we are proud that Hare Wynn has two seats at that table.
The Alabama Association for Justice exists to protect Alabamians’ constitutional right to trial by jury and to ensure equal access to the courts.
Its mission: Good Lawyers. Good Laws.
At Hare Wynn, we have always believed that the best trial lawyers do more than win cases, they show up for the profession
Our firm has stood behind this mission and belief for more than 135 years, and having Ashley and David step into board roles is a natural extension of who they are and what they stand for.
Congratulations to Ashley and David on this well-deserved recognition, and to all of the 2026–2027 ALAJ officers and board members on their election.
