This experience inspired Monroe to fight for justice for those whose voices went too often unheard.
From that moment on, Monroe dedicated himself to excelling in the study and practice of law. Upon graduating from Savannah State University, Monroe was selected as one of two students to receive the President’s Second Mile Award. At Cumberland School of Law, he was named to the Dean’s List, competed on Cumberland’s nationally-ranked trial team, and was elected Vice President of the Black Law Student Association.
Monroe now channels that passion into his practice, focusing on medical malpractice and catastrophic injury litigation. For him, the stakes are deeply personal— he is driven by the knowledge that these injuries forever change his clients’ lives, and his work gives them the opportunity to rebuild and move forward.
When he’s not working tirelessly for his clients, Monroe serves as a trial coach for Cumberland’s National Trial Team, inspiring law students to commit themselves to a career of service, just as he did. A former Division I football player for Savannah State, Monroe continues to enjoy exercise and weight lifting for fun, health, and stress relief.
From advocating for those suffering from life-altering injuries to inspiring the next generation of legal advocates, Monroe is dedicated to standing up for those who need it most, ensuring that their voices are heard and their stories are told.
