$1.85 Million Settlement in Georgia

A customer took his vehicle to the Ford Dealership service department for repair of the cruise control. An employee took the vehicle on a test drive after repairs were made and was traveling at highway speeds when he was unable to disengage the cruise control and rear-ended our client’s vehicle at an intersection. Plaintiff suffered injuries to his neck, back and was subsequently diagnosed with pancreatitis which resulted in multiple surgical procedures.
