$7.5 Million Jury Verdict in Alabama Medical Malpractice Case
Butch Borden was at home recuperating from low back surgery two days earlier when suddenly developed severe burning back pain shooting down both legs, and also was suffering from motor and sensory deficits in both legs. He was admitted to the hospital per his neurosurgeon’s orders. His condition worsened throughout the night and the nurses failed to notify the doctors. Another surgery was needed, unfortunately, the delay in surgery resulted in Butch being permanently impotent and incontinent.
