Hare Wynn’s Ashley Peinhardt Selected to Join the Leadership Birmingham Team
BIRMINGHAM- Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton is pleased to announce that trial lawyer, Ashley Peinhardt, has been selected to participate in Leadership Birmingham’s Class of 2019-2020.
Leadership Birmingham brings together a group of 50 leaders each year from diverse backgrounds and through a series of monthly programs who explore issues and exchange ideas related to the community.
The highly coveted invitation was made to Ashley because of her experience and accomplishments in the legal field and her commitment to shaping a stronger and more vibrant community.
Ashley began her career at Hare Wynn as a summer law clerk in 2009 and was hired as an associate after earning her J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in 2010.
Her practice is concentrated in the areas of catastrophic injuries, birth injuries, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and dram shop.
Her first jury trial resulted in a $15 million verdict against a gas station that sold alcohol to minors without checking for identification. Ashley recently argued this case in front of The Alabama Supreme Court, where the verdict was affirmed, making it the largest damages judgment in 20 years.
Leadership and community service are important to Ashley, as evidenced by her election as secretary of the Birmingham Bar Association Young Lawyers Executive Board in 2013-2014, and her membership with ALAJ where she served as President of Emerging Leaders, as well as other local and state leadership initiatives and forums.
Ashley’s participation as a member of Leadership Birmingham continues her commitment to Birmingham’s growth and allows her to apply her legal knowledge and education to work toward finding solutions to some of Birmingham’s biggest issues.
