Choosing the Right Car Seat
November 29, 2017
When choosing a car seat for your child, there are a number of things you must consider. Age is one of the considerations, as are the child’s weight and any potential dangers regarding the car seat. The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers guidelines on which car seat style is correct for your child based on their current age and weight.
Another thing you should do prior to choosing a car seat for your child is check the national recall site to determine if the car seat you are considering is safe. These recalls can be found here: https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/recalls/childseat.cfm.
