The Supreme Court again affirmed Judge Tom King’s certification of the class.
The original opinion (48 manuscript pages) was released on September 12, 2014. The primary issue on rehearing was whether the size of the class should be restricted to only those shareholders who filed approved claims in 1999. Today, the Supreme Court said no, the scope of the class is all shareholders, holders who lost $3.2B in stock market capitalization in 1998.
