National Law Journal Names Hare Wynn Verdict as Top 100 for 2013
The National Law Journal recently announced that one of Hare Wynn’s 2013 verdicts was listed in the Top 100 Verdicts in the nation. The $42 million verdict for the death of a local Birmingham music minister was ranked 45th in the nation and 1st in Alabama. Leon Ashford and Jamie Moncus represented the Rush family.
For many years, Hare Wynn’s mission has included seeking justice for those who have suffered personal injury or death as a result of drunk driving. “If we live in a society where drunk drivers and the bars which over serve and put them out on public streets are not held responsible, we live in a dangerous place,” says Mr. Ashford. Hare Wynn is pleased to have a Jefferson County jury send such a strong message on behalf of the Rush family that drunk driving will simply not be tolerated.”
This is the 3rd time in the last 4 years that a Hare Wynn verdict has made the National Law Journal Top 100 Verdict list.
