Hare Wynn Foundation Provides Christmas For Area Children

The Hare Wynn Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Birmingham Salvation Army Angel Tree program to help provide Christmas gifts and clothes for needy children throughout Jefferson, Shelby and St. Clair counties.

"We decided to do all we could do to help these children have a real Christmas," says Nolan Awbrey, a partner with Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton. "We saw an article in the paper about a shortfall in donations to the Angel Tree program and we saw this is an opportunity to help but more importantly challenge other law firms and businesses to step up and eradicate this funding gap. The donation will hopefully serve to provide gifts to at least 100 children. No child should have a Christmas without a present to unwrap."
