Nolan E. Awbrey
Nolan joined the firm directly from law school in 1995. He maintains a license in the States of Alabama and Georgia, though he regularly handles cases in other states, including pending matters in Arkansas, Virginia, Texas, and Louisiana.
Nolan has tried many lawsuits to a successful jury verdict, including medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and personal injury cases. In recent years, Nolan has prosecuted numerous cases for elderly clients, in his ongoing quest to fight those who own and operate nursing homes but fail to provide proper care to our senior citizens. Many of Nolan's clients have suffered tragic personal injury, and he is always humbled and honored to help them obtain fair compensation, to allow them to meet future medical and other needs. Nolan was raised on the fundamental principle of fairness to everyone, and lives his life and operates his law practice with that basic tenant at the forefront of his mind. He feels deeply for those who have been wronged and harmed by the recklessness or arrogance of others, and welcomes a fight against those who would act with such disregard as to mistreat their fellow man.
Nolan is honored by his recent naming in the 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers of America, as well as his AV peer review rating, the highest attainable.
Nolan is a proud family man, married to his wife Kristin for 19 years, and is the father of 3 children, ages 12, 10 and 8. He and his family are active members of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, where Nolan proudly serves as Deacon.
