Ashley Reitz Peinhardt
Ashley grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1998. As a four-year recipient of the Bright Futures Scholarship, she attended the University of Florida and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in business administration. At the University of Florida, she pursued a broad range of campus activities. Ashley joined Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, was a hearing officer for the Student Government Honor Court and was selected for membership in numerous honoraries – including Phi Sigma Theta, Pre-Legal Honor Society and Golden Key.
In the fall of 2007, Ashley entered Cumberland School of Law. While a law student, she was active in the trial advocacy program. She was a member of the National Trial Team, bringing home the Texas Young Lawyers Association’s National Trial Competition regional trophy two years in a row. Ashley also received the James H. Roberts “Best Advocate” Award. In addition to competing on Cumberland's National Trial Team, Ashley served as an Honor Court Justice, was a member of the Moot Court Board and a member of the Cumberland Trial Advocacy Executive Board as the Director of the James O. Haley Federal Trial Competitions. In the spring of 2010, she was a recipient of the American Board of Trial Advocates Scholarship and became a member of the Order of the Barristers. Ashley was a summer law clerk at Hare Wynn in 2009.
Ashley received her J.D., with a Certificate in Trial Advocacy, in the spring of 2010 and was admitted to practice in the State of Alabama after passing the bar exam. At Hare Wynn, Ashley’s practice is focused in the areas of breach of contract and class actions. Ashley also coaches Hoover High School's Trial Team in her free time.
